Welcome to the home of Immaculate Conception Crusaders Basketball. We are a parish based CYO basketball program open to boys and girls from 1st Grade to 12th Grade. The 3rd through 12th grade teams participate in Westchester/Putnam CYO league and the 1st and 2nd graders attend a basketball fundamentals clinic that will help them improve the skills they need to play.

The purpose of CYO basketball is to provide children with a positive, character-building experience through the vehicle of sports.  Children have the opportunity to practice Christian attitudes and responsibilities, build confidence and self-esteem, and become friends with other children throughout the parish.

REGISTRTION CLOSES FRIDAY 9/27!!!

In preparation for the start of the season we have opened registrations for tryouts. This will provide us with a clear picture of the number of participants and the number of teams that we will need. Please note that even though we try not to make cuts there are scenarios where your child may not make a team.  We have a max of 12 players per team and our rosters range from 10 -12 players.  If we do not have enough players to form a second team or have a coach for that second team we would need to cut down the roster for the one team to 10-12 players. Registration for tryouts is free! It is mandatory that you sign up for tryouts, we will NOT accept walk-ups this year.  Please look out for an ICS Crusaders email, parish e-blast, PSR blast and church bulletin for tryout times.

Notes:

• 2nd Grade Boys will play in a non CYO developmental league
• 2nd Grade Girls will try out for 3rd Grade Girls CYO team. If we have enough for a 2nd grade only team and there are enough teams for a 2nd grade developmental league we will put the team into that league.
• 3rd Grade - 8th Grade will play in CYO League
• HS Boys - Only players who have played in the elementary school program or are parishioners today will be allowed to play on the HS teams this year

IMPORTANT REMINDER:

We are so lucky to have Muggsy in our program as she is coaching her granddaughter's 3rd grade girls team this year.  If you have the time please watch the YouTube tribute video about Mugssy and you will see why it's such an honor to have her in our program.  She is a pioneer for women in sports and someone our girls and our entire program can look up to.
